The 2025 Digital Literacy Awareness Conference, hosted by YourTechQ, will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Catlin Gabel School. This conference is part of National Digital Inclusion Week 2025, an initiative of the National Digital Inclusion Alliance. It is dedicated to bringing awareness and action to the digital divide in our community.
The conference will bring together city council members, school board representatives, nonprofit leaders, educators, and student leaders for a collaborative dialogue on how to expand access to digital tools, education, and resources. Through panels, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will explore practical solutions for building a more digitally inclusive future.
Goals of the Conference
Raise Awareness: Highlight the importance of digital literacy and equity in education, civic participation, and everyday life.
Bridge Communities: Create space for leaders, organizations, and students to connect and collaborate on solutions to the digital divide.
Empower Students: Encourage youth involvement in digital literacy efforts and showcase how student-led initiatives can contribute to lasting change.
Promote Action: Inspire schools, policymakers, and community organizations to take steps toward building stronger, more inclusive digital infrastructure and support systems.
By fostering dialogue among policymakers, educators, nonprofits, and students, the Digital Literacy Awareness Conference aims to build momentum for meaningful change and ensure that every member of our community has the tools and confidence to thrive in the digital age.
